Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the query and supplies the results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be kept long enough to review and answer it. We do not voluntarily disclose the message outside our organization, though a valid legal obligation may require disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems receive basic technical information when a page loads, including:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Visited pages and approximate time spent
- A referring website, when one is reported
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help measure traffic, popular pages, and general navigation patterns. Analytics providers may combine those measurements into reports. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, maintaining, and improving website performance
- Routing a search request to the selected partner
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Measuring which resources visitors use
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
We do not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of dockets or personal case information. Concho County record guidance identifies official custodians such as the combined County and District Clerk, individual courts, and re:SearchTX. Adjudicative case records are accessed under Texas court rules and statutes, including applicable Rule 12 procedures. The Texas Public Information Act in Government Code Chapter 552 may govern non-adjudicative government records, but it is not a blanket access law for court case files. Visitor information is not assembled into a third-party record or consumer report. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Concho County clerk, Texas courts, re:SearchTX, legal-aid resources, or commercial search services. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy rules apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted advertisements.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Providers processing a search you submit
- Services measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving website ads
- Government or law-enforcement authorities acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices protect collected data. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor may be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Texas privacy and consumer-protection laws may provide additional rights. Subject to legal limits, you may:
- Request access to personal data held about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Seek deletion of eligible personal data
- Opt out of processing when the law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A revised version will appear here with its new effective date.
